Afin d’analyser les relations entre parents et professionnels lors de la prise en charge de l’autisme, une étude ethnographique a été réalisée dans un service parisien de pédopsychiatrie. l’objectif était de distinguer discours formels et informels et d’indentifier les écarts entre pratiques et recommandations.

Abstract
Last summer, under the direction of Senator Charles Grassley, a team of investigators was appointed by the American Congress to set up an inquiry on the financial relationships between researchers and pharmaceutical companies. As a result, the credibility of the most famous child psychiatrists was strongly questioned. This paper aims to understand how the tight links with industry have favoured the redefinition of mental diseases and led to an increase in the prescription of psychotropic drugs to children and adolescents.
